Electronics Deptt is going to organize a lecture of exterts of incubation centre of IIT Patna in the month of August to promote entrepreneurship among the students and to build the ecosystem in the region.....
Dr. Manish Goswami and Dr. Prasanna Kumar Misra have successfully organized a 4 day Workshop on Advanced Research in Microelectronics (WARM-2017) from January 26-29, 2017 at IIIT Allahabad.
Dr. Rekha Verma and Dr. Sitangshu Bhattacharya have successfully organized a one day Workshop on Electron Devices 2016 (WED'16) on November 19, 2016 at IIIT Allahabad. This was the first workshop that had been conducted under the newly formed IEEE EDS UP Chapter. There were six invited talks delivered by renowned professionals from IISc and IITs in the related field and about 60 people registered for the event.
A team of BTech (ECE) final year students Rakesh Kumar Reddy, Nikhil Sowrya and Adithya Sasha Sai secured the first position in All India Mentor Graphics University Design Contest 2016 for their work on Lossless Compression of Trace Data. Many congratulation to the team.

The department has recently introduced following two awards to encourage the undergraduate students to develop their technical skills and all round personality development 1. Best Student Award in a particular batch for overall best performance in academics & extra-curricular activities 2. Best Project Award for 5th semester -7th semesters students to develop their hands-on skills along with the class room study.
